Yes, that is pretty good and it is probably a good instrument. I would prefer one without the Eb/Bb extra ring and mechanism because the bare tone hole feels better and the adjustment of that ring mechanism is time consuming. Thanks.

It "looks" just like my 1920's Penzel-Mueller, which is still playing well, even tho a bit flat above the staff!.. My good-cl-playing friend bought a pair of Buffets, a 17/6 and a 20/7 FB [dated to the 1930's] from EBAY, the 17/6 cleaned-up well, the 20/7 had severe problems with the art. C#/G#, really needed rebuilding. Via a good repair shop, tried to get parts from Buff FR, no luck , waited 5 months !! So "cavaet emptor", get a "tryout" if you can. Don

It looks like an earlyish R-13. If it's in good condition, it's worth the $599, but it's a big "if" since many of the low Eb Buffets have tuning and response problems. Like Don, I'd insist on a right of return.
Note that the "F" before the serial number means that it's at European pitch, A=442-444.
