I'm looking to purchace a C clarinet. I have so much trouble finding and adequate substitute oboist for my woodwind quintet that I've decided to try hiring a clarinetist to play a C clarinet instead. Could you share some of your thoughts and experience with the instrument. What models are good to consider. Also, I've been reading about the Llyons C clarinet. They are very inexpensive . Some professional players have said they could be used in a professional situation. I've been thinking about trying the Noblet 45-C to save money as I would not like to spend more than $1500 if Possible.
Thank You,
K. Ozimek
