Okay..

Most of you probably have watched in awe the news and some possibly have first hand accounts. I'm a high school senior - I live about an hour from the NYC. My school was closed today.... This is such a tragity.. beyond words, you don't know how upset i am.

I'm auditioing for colleges in December and I wonder.. is it even worth looking at the city schools. How safe is it ? I mean.. who can tell what might hapen in a month..a year.. ? I mean I love NYC, and it has some wonderful music schools.. but how safe is it.. should I not audition for MSM, Mannes, Juilliard, NYU...

It's pretty sad when you have to worry about saftey more so then the quality of an education.. What is this world coming to ?
