Based on all your inputs and Eric Black's review, I contacted Gleichweit and Emir Radisevic recommended the 7-1, 7-4, 8, 8-4 and 9-1 mouthpieces. I decided to request the 7-1, 7-4 and 8-4 for a test trial.
They just arrived today (a week later) and I'm ecstatic about all three. I have 2006 CSGs and am currently playing on Pilgerstorfer # 3.5-4.0 and Gonzalez (New) GD # 3.0-3.25 and all three have great intonation, tone, response and a nice amount of resistance. These mouthpieces seem to be very reed/strength friendly. The sound is very round/soft but when you push them you can get a very nice presence, still possessing the same round/resonant sound. You can also play very soft with great control and no noise. Most of all, I can play the way I want, with the sound I want without killing myself with hard reeds and resistant mouthpieces.
I'm astounded that these mouthpieces (which are MOLDED from PLASTIC) play better (for me) than even some of the newest CNC-made mouthpieces machined from the latest in proprietary hard rubber formulas. Clearly, Gleichweit knows something about how to make a great performing mouthpiece that yields a Viennese-esque sound regardless of the material or process (and maybe even which clarinet/reed you use).
Although I think my favorite might be the 8-4, I'm not sure yet if I can part with any of these. I have 10 days to decide...
