Are we talking about the lowest tone hole on the lower joint of a clarinet with a range down to low E? If so, the Buffet Elite had a raised tone hole for this note (I've tried to attach some photos from this site that shows it: https://www.clarinetsdirect.net/store/p121/Buffet-Elite-Clarinet.html#/ )

Is the Chadash clarinet similar? I believe, as was started above, that this was supposed to improve the intonation of low F.
