It may get flat- easy to check using a tuner app.
If it does you have two choices:
1. have the barrel cut deeper
or
2. have your MP cut by those 1-2mm;
either way, I believe that throat notes will get sharper more than long notes (long D,C, B), which can also be adjusted.
If you are not playing with an orchestra/band at the moment, than I'd do nothing and see how this new to you MP feels.
Sometimes soft reeds would make instrument go flat.
Another consideration is if your instrument is in tune with itself with the Vandoren MP.
