Thank you both for the generous words. I was particularly struck by Phurster's use of the word 'beautiful' because it is a bit out of fashion in Mozart performance today, or at least in writing about it. We all want to be 'rhetorical'... But I had a quick look and the word "Schönheit" or 'Beauty' crops up quite a bit in musical commentary of the period.
Of course it must have meant something different back then, but the emotional effect on the listener is the same.
