I would like some clarification regarding the image. The perspective is a bit wonky and looks as if you have a skinny tenor sax mouthpiece (that's not right, is it?). Further though, there is a "black crescent" at the top of the mouthpiece image that almost looks like the top part of the ligature is not flush with the mouthpiece (is that right???).
What it looks like to me all wonkifide, is that the ligature is meant to sit with the screw on the LEFT side (as if you were left handed). I have a BG Tradition configured like this.
Maybe a shot from the other side (bottom of mouthpiece) of the mouthpiece could help.
