The reeds you are paying on might be too stiff with the wide rails of the mouthpiece and a fairly open tip and facing. It's not as open as some of the others, the facing might also be uneven. Perhaps try out a few others. And it's also possible your embouchure is a tad bit weak. Plus what the others posted.
