Buffet only made one “model” as we know them today when this instrument was made. They were professional instrument back in the day, but aren’t built to modern standards and are more intermediate level. To get the most out of it you will need a large bore mouthpiece which can be hard to find unless it came with the original. Unofficially these are called “pre-R13s”. Even though there was only one model these were available with different keywork options from standard to full Boehm. This instrument has an articulated C#/G# which is the reason for the hole. It was made in 1936 based on the serial number.
