Thank you for the information. It's fascinating that the music only really spreads by pdf or copies. It's true that some of the music being produced wasn't that good. I'm sure some original editions are out there, but if there isn't any incentive to reprint because everything exists in copy-form, then perhaps many of these works, even for academic purposes, are lost to time.
