I have a student (a high school junior) who has a fairly immediate need for an A clarinet. I've talked to her about a Ridenour Lyrique and she has seen an E11 and plays currently on an E11 Bb. I didn't realize until I started looking around tonight that Noblet markets an A clarinet - a 45A.
I own and play most C clarinet parts on a Noblet C, but it's of a really old vintage, and I don't know how new ones would compare. Has anyone had experience with the recent ones who would care to comment on it?
Thanks,
Karl
