Tough question. You do what you have to do that relates to the type of playing you want to do.

My routine is pretty regular in an order that usually stays the same.

A few memorized technical studies.
A jazz solo(s) I will play most summers in the band.
A page from my own book "The Most Advanced Clarinet Book".
A page in the orchestral excerpts books.
An etude from my extensive collection of advanced books.
A third of a page from solos I have played or may play with the band.
Another etude from a different batch of advanced method books.
Go watch TV.
