I just bought a Legere Euro 3 last week and found that was too soft and buzzy for my liking, so I've sanded the tip down to shorten it to up the strength which has done the trick. I use it with a Vandoren A1 crystal and haven't had any untoward tuning/intonation problems on my clarinets (Selmer BT, CT and Series 9) all using a 67mm barrel. If anything, they're playing just as sharp as using cane reeds and I normally pull the barrel out by 1-2mm when warmed up.

I've since found out these are based on a Signature soprano sax reed as they do have a noticeably short scrape/vamp which is the same length as the Signature soprano sax reed, but with a longer heel/'bark' area. I'm planning on going synthetic across the board and just waiting for Legere to launch a cor anglais reed as that will make pit doubling a doddle not having to worry about the thing not speaking if you've had no chance to soak it well and a ridiculous quick change right before coming in on an important solo.

Right now I'm using Signature 2 on soprano to bari saxes (all with 7* Lawtons), Signature 3 on basset horn/alto clarinet and bass clarinet and the Euro 3.5 (I think) on Bb/A clarinets. Next step will be Signatures for Eb clarinet and sopranino sax and either a medium or medium soft for oboe (I currently have an original oboe reed from when they were first publicly launched which is medium hard, but that's a bit on the tough side for me).

Maybe a normal Signature 3 for Bb/A clarinet if they're a bit harder than the Euro one just to see how they compare.
