I started again back in January of this year. I love my clarinet bought it from Ridinour out of TX (sp)

Enjoying it but as the above post I have some difficulty with my counting notes on songs that I don't know, but on songs that I do know it makes playing much easier as I don't count because I know what the song is to sound like so it kind of flows like Paul Aviles states. But I still work on counting so that new songs might sound like they are ment to

Struggling with reeds also but working on it, you sure can spend a fortune on reeds trying to get the right one! Thinking about mouthpieces I only have a student one but might upgrade later in a few years. Also a lot of money LOL

I played in High School 4 years, graduated in 1980 but sold my then clarinet for money as a young family money was greatly needed. Have retired with my husband now and am enjoying my clarinet most everyday. You can laugh but I have a calander that I put a sticker on each day that I play so that I can make sure to practice and not let life and family deter me too many days of the month. It allows me to see if I have too many gaps in my playing and keeps me on track. My Granddaughter just gave me another sheet of her stickers and said it was for my clarinet calander
