From what I recall the M13 was the first dedicated mouthpiece meant to be at American 'A=440' pitch and therefore did not have the '13' designation because that would have been redundant. I don't know when the little oval was placed on all such pitched mouthpieces. So it just depends on the age your mouthpiece.
