Hi there! Brand new to this forum and a clarinet player that have been dormant for 25 or so years. Now started again and quite happy with my old Jazz festival (any thoughts on that model in this forum?).
Anyway, thinking about buying an 1974 Leblanc L7. Only have pictures from the auction-site to my disposal and the keys on the clarinet seems OK, but have read a few threads regarding that Leblanc had some problems with their plating. So, anyone here know if this can be an issue on the 1974-model and what might be the solution to it (if I get my hand on it).
I have prior experience in refurbishing and change cork, cleaning, changing pads etc. but I have never need to for example re-plate any keys......
