A lesson in arpeggiation: Viola de Gamba music on clarinet
Author: seabreeze
Date:   2018-02-24 06:04

Florent Heau performing on solo clarinet a transcription of Le Badinage and Prelude en Harpegement by 17th-18th century composer Marin Marais, first written for the viola de gamba. A colorful adaptation demonstrating even and fluid movement between the registers of the clarinet. Great arpeggio playing! https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Florent+Heau+Badinage+Prelude+en+harpegement.
