 Ridenour Lyrique chip...

I have just chipped or nicked a very small piece of ebonite/hard rubber off the tenon which goes into the barrel, just above the cork. Is this a problem? Things seem to sound OK.

I have saved the chip which is only a millimetre or two in length in case it is needed by a technician. I am surprised that this has happened - it was a small tap when I was dismantling the clarinet to put it away...

Post a pic or send the horn to Tom. He can most likely fix it. After all of these years in business I'm sure he's seen a few things.
