I wanted a clarinet case to protect my R13 as the Buffet one I felt was insufficient protection and possibly damaging it. I redid the original ponchette in new velour and frankly it looks stunning but in order to let it close there has to be literally no padding in critical areas. I found a case which in many ways looks like the best of the original Buffet cases. Of course it doesn't have the Buffet logo on it but neither does my 1986 R13 whose logos have long since worn off. Here's a link to the case which is sturdy and classic looking, and at $65.00 delivered it is quite a bargain. As one might expect, from any product coming from China, it might be a good value but it arrives with a mild odor of toxic chemicals likely used in the glues. It airs out quickly. As an aside, I recently ordered a wooden chess set which came from China and I had to air that one out too. https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Replacement-Clarinet-Imitation-Leather/dp/B00NO6TVUW/ref=lp_11969431_1_1_sspa?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1519048736&sr=1-1-spons&psc=1
