Steve, I was conducting research on another topic and clicked into this post. After scrolling the thread and reading some of the vicious remarks, I wanted to offer my sincere help. If you are still in need of quality charts I'd be happy to contribute a 30-minute set from my personal book of Dixie and Trad specialized arrangements. All are open source and on ink or Finale. I think I have a good idea where you and your pickers are musically so I'd select playable charts you can work up quickly and sound good. Many of the parts are written out (changes only for comp and solos), there are a few lead sheets but those contain shout choruses. All were performed and recorded by my group over 20 years while serving in the U.S. Air Force Band program.

For reference I have a spare accompanying CD that I can forward that covers many of the tracks (free of charge to you as the recording sessions were financed by US taxpayer dollars). As I recall, a few of the charts I (actually) liked my own improv, I transcribed out the solos. I can fold those in as well. All of the front line parts are written for trumpet, bone, and clarinet. However, the clarinet parts are mostly in the staff so they can be doubled on b-flat soprano sax or on tenor with minor adjustments.

I'll need time to dig them out of moth balls (they're in storage) and prep for you (copy and tape). They will definitely make good additions to your book (or as entry-level repertoire), on future gigs. Feel free to reach out here and we can go private.
