Brahms Hungarian Dances Nos. 2, 8 and 9

We’re playing a Douglas Stroud, Ludwigmasters Publications, version of the Brahms in the title.
Does by anyone know if they were originally written for A or Bb?
We have both parts...just want to keep it genuine to the original.
