I can't imagine having the keys forced will be good for them in the long run, but CSGs have pretty sturdy keywork and it'll probably be fine in the short term until you find a better solution.

On a related note, Reed and Squeak cases hold the instruments in such a way that the keys do get pressed. It's not the same as forcing a hard case closed on it, but they'll happily survive a quite reasonable amount of pressure.
