You kind of have to remember that some of the music schools will have maybe 300 and up people auditioning for just a few spots. You need to sound your very best. Good luck! Hope you are one of these top players. Oh, often the audition committee for the schools are harder on people with recorded auditions compared to going there live. The reason is you can keep recording something until it is REALLY great. So make sure you sound great. Live auditions can often be a shade more forgiving, but this surely does not mean you don't have to be less prepared, it has more to do with nerves, things like that.
