Tremolo from throat A to clarion C#

As you can see from the attachment, for one of my orchestra pieces, I need to basically trill from A to C# for 10 measures at a pretty slow tempo. It's a very delicate part of the piece (Lord of the Rings) and I can't play it too loud. I can get it pretty well at a mf dynamic, but if I try to play it softer, I always have a delay in getting to the C#. I don't think there are any trill fingerings for this, right? Any suggestions?
