How do I say the note-count for two 3/4 measures where first measure is a half note tied to an eighth note joined to another eighth note and the second measure starts with an eighth not followed by a half note and two sixteenth notes tied together. I somehow find this very confusing not to play but to say the count. In other words I can 'sense' the timing but unsure how to actually count it, maybe due to accenting the eighth note beginning the measure. Want to confirm how to say the count to understand the rhythm and be sure it is correct.
