 Re: Do Gator Cases Last?

I've only seen the Gator tenor sax cases and think the grey fabric covered one was excellent value for money and seem to be very protective and durable. I wasn't so taken by the hard plastic case which looked a bit like an SKB copy, but the plastic shell was thin and brittle.

If the clarinet cases are made form the same hard form foam and the insides cradle the joints well with no undue movement nor pressure on the keywork (especially the RH F/C touchpiece which is particularly vulnerable), then they should be worth considering.

If you're only looking for a case to supply with reconditioned clarinets, then these should be fine. It's up to the buyer if they stick with the case or get a different one.
