 Do Gator Cases Last?

I'm looking to purchase cases to sell with student instruments that I fix up. I'd prefer hard cases, but semi-soft side cases are more economical (used student instruments only go for so much). I see a lot of used Gator, Kaces, and Pro-Tech foam cases for sale. Picture attached... I got one Gator case and it seemed OK. The foam was pretty hard. Obviously they won't last forever, but mostly I was concerned with the clarinet getting out of adjustment with normal use, and damaged if packed under a bus for marching.

Do these hold up, and do they provide enough protection for kids to use?
