A high school near by gave me this to repair. Linton, it uses a contra bass clarinet mouthpiece, the over all length of tubing is about 72" (around 6 feet ). There are two register keys, some sax fingering and some clarinet fingerings.
When I play lower register to higher, they are 12ths apart like a clarinet.
The two keys right above first finger L hand are like the throat A and G# keys. Most of the other keys work like a sax.
Playing starting low register all six fingers down (as if I were playing low G on a clarinet) starts with concert Bb. Going up as I take a finger off, C, D, E, F#, G#.
Going higher to second finger L hand is A, the throat keys will give me C and C#.
Upper register starting at the bottom F#, G#, A, B, C#, D#. Yes, intonation is all over the place. Lowest note is a G# (rather flat G# though).
I'll take a stab at it being in Eb, why would anyone combine sax and clarinet fingerings?
