Sing, when you sing and go as high as possible you will porbably position your "voicing" properly and that includes your tongue position. If you feel that working as you sing higher and higher try to "copy" that voicing feeling slowly to adapt it to your clarinet playing. Voicing will also position your throat properly if you can do it right. Use lots of deep breath support as well so you don't use your throat for support.
