Ha! I know! Six years ago, I broke up with a deadbeat boyfriend with no job (I bought a new car when I realized I had more money) and found a BAM case on the ebays for a really good deal. I think it was a liquidation from a music shop? I want to say I paid $300-400 for it. And what, 5 years ago, I got a better job. Not that I am rolling in money, but I am definitely better off than I was back then.

I had paid $500 for my bass clarinet off the ebays as well, and got a really nice deal for what sometimes sells for $1500. :P But at the time that I bought that bass, I had a community theater gig that paid me $500, so it was already paid for!
