As far as response and tone characteristics are concerned, you are as Tony says the best judge of what you like.
It does look from the chart as if the "E" suffix may mean "European," as in higher pitch. The E mouthpieces tune. according to the chart, at A=442 Hz, while the others are made to tune at 441. Whether this is a problem for you or not depends on what kind of playing you do - what kind of ensembles you play in. The higher pitch may also be influencing what you hear as "tighter."
Was your B45 a Series 13 version or a "traditional" one?
