Buffet have the side and cross Eb/Bb tomeholes in slightly different positions and sizes - the side Eb/Bb tonehole being placed lower down the bore and larger in diameter than the LH3 Eb/Bb tonehole (which is positioned slightly higher and smaller in diameter).

On a Selmer CT for example, both toneholes are in the same position along the length of the bore and are both 6mm in diameter to give the same pitch and tone quality to the note using both fingerings.
