Sorry to reply a old post.

I also feel confuse of this question. One of my friend is a wind repair technician told me that uebel clarinet (at less the basic model) are made in China.

I am looking for a new clarinet this few mouths and I find that Uebel clarinet (Boehm or Oehler)is much cheaper than Buffet, Schreiber and Yamaha.
