My studio is in my basement;I run a dehumidifier all summer and have done for years. And have never cracked a horn in the summer, other than an outdoor concert in Crested Butte where it dropped under 50 degrees F. Without the dehumidifier I'd be growing mushrooms; it just keeps it around 50%, which is higher than it is in winter anyway.
