I mostly stick with CENTER (center of the lay) with the tip lined up with the tip rail (if reed were pushed against the tip it would stop pretty much at or slightly beyond the edge of the tip rail).


You can make up for some uneveness of the balance or strength by angling side to side or moving up or down, but I pretty much stick to ONE spot.
