I needed a non-wood cheap but decent clarinet for taking it in my business trips. Based out on great advice from this board, I ended up with a Jupiter. However, A TR 147 I did miss got into my mind because of the hard rubber and Ridenour stories...
Then I decided I needed a clarinet for improving my maintenance and repair skills, so "invested" US$ 6,5 in a not so bad looking and playabe as is Amati (I even intend to do nickel replating...).
Then a reasonably and even cheap TR 147 popped up, so I got it...
Is this normal?
