Folks---
A very annoying thing happened today: I was finishing up the upper section of an old H. Landau Paris clarinet and realized at some point the thumb tube fell out, and I can't find it anywhere!
I do have some parts clarinets but in every case the tube is too small. The diameter of the hole the tube would fit in is approx .400" according to my calipers.
Does anyone have a thumb tube of this size they would sell me? It kills me to not finish up this clarinet, it seems very well made, much nice than most stencils I've seen, and even came with an old Chedeville mouthpiece. I've been dreaming of how it might play............
If anyone can help please contact me!
thanks,
Klook
