I want to guess the above is Greek transliterated into a non-Latin Italic alphabet.
(Linguists help me out.)
I hope nothing is lost in translation.
At some point, it appears that the Forbes Europa 3 mouthpiece is recommended.
I'm confused. The poster wants the same tip opening of his B40, which is 119.5, or 1.195mm. Mr. Forbes says subtract "around" (my word, not his, derived from his words "rough equivalent") "5" from Vandoren's tip opening measurements to match his tip openings. I presume Mr. Forbes means 5 1/100ths of a millimeter.
That would bring us to a Forbes mouthpiece of about 114.5, or 1.145mm in size, suggesting the Europa 4 or 5....and yet Mr. Forbes suggests the Europa 3 as his closest counterpart to the Vandoren B40, as has correctly Mr. Shusta above.
I guess subtracting "5" is an average amount for Mr. Forbes' product offerings.
