Hello,
I recently came across and purchased an old clarinet from a military orchestra auction. Having started playing the clarinet after a period of 10 years of not really playing at all I thought that finding a vintage instrument would be interesting. The clarinet is an old Couesnon Monopole Es, serial number 17447. Apparently from 1951 or so? The condition is not mint, so I'm wondering if anyone has an estimate on how much it would set me back to get it in good condition. Also what is the value of an old Couesnon like this and is it worth doing at all. Any information would be appreciated.
