how's the right hand rings, are they high, leveled or low?
If it is a leak t is best to have tech do it. That pad is a bit tricky as it may require bending keys, heating and floating pad and bridge key adjustment.
If it seals and you just need to rise the pad than look under the low joint bridge. If it has cork it can be sanded down to improve venting. But rising pad may/will change tuning. In that case replacing pad with smaller leather/cork could be alternative.
All this is really better left to tech!
