Hi everybody, I own a copy of the Donizetti Concertino in Bb Major edited and reconstructed by Raymond Meylan.
In the first set of triplets in measure 60, there is a printed Bb in the part and in the piano reduction. Is it supposed to be played as a C on the clarinet? If it is played as written Bb, it does not match the underlying harmony (root and 3rd of sounding Eb major chord). I have attached a photo of the said measure with this post.
I have heard recordings where the soloists played either written Bb or C. Please advise.
