Do not buy these clarinets! While some chinese clarinets can be a good bargin, the tempest line is far overpriced and lack quality control. Consider a ridenour clarinet or possibly a vintage clarinet.

I haven't seen their clarinets, but I did buy one of their ringless barrels. Not impressed. I plan on going to San Antonio next week for the Texas Bandmaster Association convention to go thru the exhibits. I'll look them up.

I started going in '68. It's not an every year thing for me, but I like going when I can shake loose from my summer time duties. I hope Brad Behn is there. I've got a couple of mouthpieces I want to leave with him.
