Sounds like you want the slightest excuse to get something new! I know the feeling ...
I'd suggest trying the Lyrique Libertas ... you might like that one. Will be a positive paradigm shift for you, I think ... and very affordable on the easy payment plan.
I've played most model Yamaha clarinets over the years and they are hard to beat. Not played a pro model in a long time ... I tried some intermediate models a while back and I could live with them if my current horn was not available. High praise and honors to Yamaha!
Gosh, I miss my YCL62/65 ... although they had a million miles and seemed "blown out" ...
I had an intermittent teacher around 1984/85 that was a Buffet fan and a half. His old horn was one of the best I've played ... but George just had to have something new and better and almost bought a new Selmer Recital (he said it played like a Mercedes drove). But finally settled on, I think, a Yamaha YCL72. He sounded great, as always. But you could really hear the difference between the R13 and the YCL72 ... and I think George wisely kept his Buffet as a reference ...
Keep the Yamaha and add another horn to your collection. You'll miss it someday, if you sell it.
Happy horn hunting!
Tom
