Forestone's site says only that their Premium Cut reeds are "G-Tuned," but doesn't say what that means.
I'm not convinced that the difference is that when you hold the tip of the reed on a table with the butt dangling over and flip the butt, it sounds "G" -- which would depend on how much was hanging over the edge.
That is, what's the difference between the way the regular and the G-tuned Premium Cut reeds play? Has anyone tried them both?
For those who have tried them, how do the strength numbers compare with blue-box Vandorens or Rico Reserve Classics?
