Elkjer Quintet Arrangement and Some Nifty Playing
Author: Ken Shaw 2017

Robert Elkjer, who does arrangements for the Canadian Brass, has published some woodwind quintet arrangements of familiar tunes, played with dazzling virtuosity at:

http://robertelkjer.net/WWQuintets/MozartRondoAllaTurkaWW5.mp3 and
http://robertelkjer.net/WWQuintets/FaureSicilienneWW5.mp3

The recordings have the airless quality typical of electronic samples, and the horn sounds weird, but there are nuances of phrasing and vibrato that argue for live players.

So is it live, or is it synthesizer? And if it's live, who are these amazing players?
