I just acquired a Selmer L series that has a 3 digit serial number of L168. It does not have the BT or any other model under the logo on the upper joint. It also has metal tenon rings on all three sockets that look to be factory installed. It also has the extra ring at the end of the upper joint. It is a Bb instrument with unplated German silver keys and has the pointy trill guide. I looked with a magnifier and can not see a fourth digit in the serial number on either joints or any evidence of one. Does anyone know what year this was manufactured and have any other information about the possibility of it being an early L series with perhaps the same specs as a late K series.
Also came with a 62MM barrel that looks to be original.
