Could be worse. Back in 2001 pianist Krystian Zimerman travelled to New York with his personal Steinway to play a concert at Carnegie Hall. Unfortunately the customs officials at JFK Airport in New York thought that the piano "smelled funny" so they seized it and then had the bomb squad destroy it with an explosive device.
