Have any of you used the cork greases and bore oil from doctorsprod.com before? If yes, what do you think of them? The Synthetic cork grease? The Doctor Slick stuff? What about the Bore oil?

I have been using the cork grease which is the natural (non-synthetic) product. It works very well, very smooth. I think that it may not last quite as long as standard grease.(corks need to be greased a bit more often) Check the klarinet archives, I think that these products have been discussed before.

I use both mentioned products and find them to be better than any product commerically available.

"Both" products Jim? There is the bore oil, the older "natural" cork grease, and then superior synthetic cork grease. 3 products. The last is super duper.

Gordon,
Sorry for the confusion.
I use the natural cork grease and the bore oil. They both have my highest approval.

Dear all,
Thanks for your kind comments. It is a real reality check to hear your feedback. I was prompted to start this cottage industry by musican friends that liked my homebrew products and urged me - against my better judgement - to make them for the community, assuring me that I would get support if the products were good. I am still not breaking even but the growth is on the log scale and growing daily by your word of mouth endosements. Thanks.
The Doctor

If better judgement stopped innovation,
We would never have "Teletubbies", indoor plumbing or roadside barbecue
(all ideas that are initially repellant, but irresistable).
Nice to know our NASA dollars weren't all slammed into Mars.
Space slime, available in ounces, ounces avoirdupois, and poundals!
Good onya, turning your garage into a goldmine!
Got anything that will turn my Bundy signature mouthpieces into $1648 Chedevilles?
