Brian Rust's discography entitled "Jazz Records1987-1942" (p1230) lists "King Oliver's Jazz Band" (sic), as recording "New Orleans Stomp" by Oliver & Piron, and "Camp Meeting Blues" in Chicago on October 16 1923, with the following personnel : King oliver & Louis Armstrong cornets/ Ed atkins Trombone/ Buster Bailey or Jimmie Noone clarinet/ Lil Hardin piano/Johnny St Cyr banjo/ Baby Dodds drums. Other numbers also recorded by Oliver using either of these two these clarinetists, but on October 15 1923, are shown as "Chattanooga Stomp", "Junk Man Blues" and "London Cafe Blues - A New Orleans Stomp"(sic)
Johnny Dodds is listed as being on this band's other October recording sessions immediately before and after the sessions of 15 & 16 October.
Best wishes Trevor Rippingale.
